Tai Streets was my 2nd grade teacher assistant. He taught me how to read a clock. Or, more accurately, he consoled me when kids were teasing me for saying it was 2:45 instead of 1:45.
He had my back because I was the only kid in the class who immediately recognized him the first day and didn't confuse him with Charles Woodson. That had to sting a little. Tai signed my journal where I wrote short stories about animals and drew crazy mazes. It's one of my most prized possessions.
That's a great story! Although you being that much younger than me is mildly annoying. Me and Tai are about the same age iirc.
