I get things look rough right now, but it is still fairly early.  Put together back to back great seasons and let NIL work through the kinks.  I am confident Michigan will not sit still and get blown away.  Lots of turn over from the staff, easy to negative recruit JH right now (his own creation unfortunately).  Winning solves a lot of problems.  Win games and develop and maintain relationships. Recruiting will work out.

stop with that rational thinking bullshit, that doesn't fly around here!!!

We're DOOMED!   Central has a better NIL program than we do, they'll be out recruiting us soon!

FIRE HARBAUGH, FIRE MANUEL, FIRE BAKICH....oh wait

December 21st is a L O N G way out.... it might be a little too early to freak out about recruiting.

Uh, actually now is the right time to start freaking out because the summer when a lot of the big players get sorted out into their respective programs (we've always made summer commits a big deal, and we're sorely lacking this year).  We've held most of our big We might recover a bit if we have great success during the season but if you're thinking we're gonna sign a top 20 class, you're delusional.

Barring a minor miracle, we have to accept that the 2023 will be not great and hope we can turn it around for the 2024 group.  The one thing we can count on is that 1 bad class shouldn't ding us too badly.  But 2 bad classes, then we're up shit's creek.

so the recruiting class that won't be complete until Feb 2023 is already assured to be outside of the top 20

I mean, I don't like saying it but word from all insiders and people in the program is that this class has a low ceiling on it (in terms of overall rankings) so don't expect it to be super great.  Don't shoot the messenger.  It is what it is, and I'll be just as stoked as anybody if it turns it out better than it looks right now.

Also, your snark is lame and stupid.  I actually think we're at a great chance of a 10-2/11-2 type season that could maybe (just maybe) turn things around for us like this last season should have.  But I'm sure you don't wanna hear that

ok, so we have a great chance at a 10-2 or 11-2 season, but we should be freaking out over the current recruiting class.

i disagree with your opinion, but i won't stoop to calling it lame or stupid.  I just tend to not freak out about shit that might, or might not happen over the course of the next 8 months.   I mean, we could sign three 5* recruits and shoot up the rankings, only to have them flame out and never see the field..... I guess that would make for a better recruiting ranking, but wouldn't benefit the team.

The sky can always be falling, if that's what you're looking for.  Coming off the best season in decades, I think we're going to be fine.... even if we sign the 24st best recruiting class this cycle.

have a jolly day and Go Blue.

Mike Hammerstein also wore #66, and like Chuck, he was a late bloomer in his career. The 1985 team that Mike was a leader on was crazy good on defense.
