There Are...

There are....6 days left until we climb the CFP mountain.  And there are a couple of '6's' that have been very key to get us to the base of CFP mountain, WR Cornelius Johnson ('Cojo') and S R.J. Moten.  Cojo comes with a Michigan pedigree as his mother is a U of M Medical School graduate.  He has helped buttress our receiving corps, especially after Ronnie Bell went down.  He has taken the top off of some defenses (I see you Wisconsin!) and man has it been fun to watch.

R.J. Moten is a 6' 0" 221 lb safety who can hit.  He has played in big games, not the least of which was the win v. ohio and the B10 Championship game.  He comes from a football pedigree as his father played at Florida and then 4 years in the NFL for the Eagles. R.J. is also a two-sport standout, having had a phenomenal baseball career in high school, hitting over .500 his sophomore and junior years.   He is only a sophomore for U of M, so hopefully we get two more great years from him.

Today is different in that many of us will have lots of other things to do besides think about the CFP.  But in the back of your mind the CFP is like an incredibly cool gift that you get to open in 6 days.  Only.  6.  More.  Days.

Merry Christmas and Go Blue!

I'll remember Cojo's catch against osu for a long time, tracking it with a step on the defender, diving and sliding with compete control of the ball...a moment I think he'll cherish forever.

CJ has indeed stepped up after losing Ronnie Bell. Looking forward to him taking Georgia DEEP in SIX DAYS!

RJ will make a drive ending tackle to contribute on the other side.

It’s going to be glorious!

Wanted to say that CoJo was one of the more pleasant surprises of the year.  But who am I kidding.  You could say that about every single player on the team.  Even when the ball hasn't been getting distributed much around the receiving corp., those guys are always downfield making blocks.  Everyone has been pulling their weight down to last guy on ST.  Obvious who team MVP is but you could easily make a case for - OL, RB's, QB's, DL, DB's.
