There Are....

There are.....J.J. McCarthy days until we take the field vs. UGA.  9 days until our great coaches and our great players, who have consistently put together fantastic game plans, get to show their stuff on NYE.  9 days until we get to see J.J. and the gang compete in the CFP.  9 days.  That's less than 10 days, but more than 8, which is where we're headed tomorrow.  9 days.

Apropos of the hustle that makes this team different, I had to include J.J.'s incredible downfield sprint and block vs. Iowa in the B10 championship game.  It ignited a fire in that game and it put things on film that other teams are going to have to spend time in figuring out.  I am sure he and Corum will go back and forth on McCarthy getting there to block for the rest of their days.

9 days, then its game time.

Remember, too, that JJ is the kind of kid that donated his NIL money to the Oxford shooting victims.  A Michigan Man.  The Michigan Difference.

Love our team.  Love our players.  Have a great day today and Go Blue!

An unintended benefit of that play is that Georgia will look at it and think that Corum might not be all that fast, after all...  The recent game highlights from him have seen him: caught from behind by OSU defensive players after a 5 yard head start, and caught from behind by a WR and a quarterback against Iowa, some 30 yards downfield.

If I'm a Georgia defensive coach or player, I don't see a guy that can run away from the field.

Alas, I am not a Georgia defensive coach or player, and I see four weeks of healing that says he outruns the field and surprises the hell out of some poor damn DB...

Son of a!!!

I was getting certificate errors that said MGoBlog's cert had expired, and when I clicked to proceed anyway it just reloaded the previous page - without my post.  Several times!  I even emailed the Blog editor and pasted the error so they could go fix it!

Now I come back in, and it's here for the dreaded triple...  Give me my negs - I'm hungry!!!

Edit: I'm leaving all of them up in their full glory.  Deal with it.  LOL!!

Thanks XM. Too bad the covid hand wringers have taken over the board and this didn’t stay front and center longer!

SMH - Whatever will happen… will happen. We don’t need EVERY damn update on covid.

I predict the games will be played and participation will be close to 100%.
