There is some of that good news!
I also worry less about recruiting for basketball and how Howard does this year. We have a team that is going to be competitive this year, he can put his stamp on the team, and then get a few high recruits for the next year.
It'll be fun to see the Fab 5 back and hopefully keep that swagger around UM Hoops!

This is going to be a fun year with a lot of unknowns. There won’t be a ton of expectations or pressure so I think there could be surprising success.

As a fellow Flint kid, I had a faint dislike of Glen Rice before he came to UM. He went to Flint Northwestern, and as a Flint Northern grad, I remembered all too well those Northern / NW games back in the day. (They were more like small wars, and NW won too many of them.)
But I figured if I could forgive Rick Leach (Flint Southwestern) and Eric Turner (Flint Central) once they got to UM, then Glen deserved some slack too.
And oh, that tournament. God bless him, he just wouldn't miss.

I really hope we have a good season. We have a good core with livers brooks teske and simpson. The freshman from last year nunez johns castleton and dejulius should improve their game. Then with freshman bajema and Wagner as well as Davis from last season we have a legit 9 man rotation at the minimum which should be enough to finish in the top 5 of the big ten and get to the tournament
