There are...
...days until Russell Davis (FB 1975-1978) sees Michigan's running game keep the offense guessing and moving as our new Speed In Space offense takes the CFB world by storm.

Mr. Davis had some awesome runs across his career in a winged helmet. Here's a good handful of them (and Bob Ufer has the call for most of these too):
Many thanks to Dr. Sap and enjoy!
Also, here's the correct wiki link:
Ufer gives me goosebumps still to this day

His cotton-picking maize and blue heart.
(Though, most likely students) I’m going to believe that’s John and Jim Harbaugh photobombing the picture.
I’m not old enough to remember Mr. Davis, so Leroy Hoard is the guy who I envision when it come to #33. And that is immediately followed by the sound of Keith Jackson’s voice calling his name. It’s pure football porn. Try it. You’ll like it.
Leroy Hoard is my favorite #33 and one of my all-time favorite players.
It was nice to see that Davis brought along Michigan linebacker Mike Taylor for today's "There are..."

Bounacar Cissoko days
Boubacar?
While RD is from the salad days of my youth*, I prefer Supreme Taco Days left.
*too old to figure out how to imbed a picture
Taco's Supreme!
I totally forgot about Taco. Nice addition.
Also Leroy Hoard!
we'll be under a month soon....
tick tock....tick tock
Huckleby up, Davis close and Leach under center. One of my favorite backfield combos.

Cazzie Russel
True; 33 days until this season's Michigan Wolverines football season begins. Time to snap to it.
One of my other favorites too. He'll get a shoutout one year for sure.
JWG - Nice job pairing rumbling Russell with Seth's 1976 podcast ! He was a force to be reckoned with on that 32 dive play ... you could hear the pads cracking all the way to the top of the student section on those clear fall Saturday's when Russell was carrying the rock.
It was unintentional, but I'll take credit for that. You're welcome and Go Blue!
I can friggen taste it. And it tastes so sweet. Football season - never leave me, again!
