There are...
...days until Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch (HB/End 1943) sees some unique offensive production in 2019.

Go Blue!
It's getting serious now
Not quite Sione Houma serious, but we're getting there.
Yep, can feel it in the air now. Pretty soon I am going to be planning out that first Saturday where I will inevitably consume entirely too much alcohol by 7:00 PM for the game to be remotely memorable in even the most basic sense.
But I will eat Ribs. There Will Be Ribs.
Today's vid is a tribute to another #40...
Thanks WH for great videos and enjoy as always!
Is John's son Caden still committed to us for 2020? He committed in 2018.
Yes, but he's a 2019.
Thanks, Magnus - I had the wrong year.
We almost there!
Srry for threadjack, but just had a classic interaction with a douchey OSU alum. I'm at a nice event with my wife and kids. Lo and behold, we get seated at a table of 8 with this OSU alum and his wife. When he learns that we're Michigan grads, he starts going on and on about Harbaugh, and his temper, and how he couldn't beat Meyer, blah, blah, blah, and then he has the audacity to say that Harbaugh is a Buckeye. What?! Guess being born in Toledo.....makes you a Buckeye? Finally had to tell him to stop with the lies. This guy was so perfectly OSU.....they aspire to be like Michigan, but the converse is not true. I just pitied him.
No such thing as threadjacking one of these "there are" posts. You're stepping in front of a dude getting beaten with a bag of oranges. Thanks are in order.
Don't forget about Ron Johnson #40. He played RB (HB) from 1966-68. He rushed for 270 yards against Navy in '67. In '68 He was the first African American to be team captain of the Michigan football team. He passed away 11/10/18, RIP!
Even better than that performance vs Navy, 347 yds vs Wisconsin in 1968, I still remember watching that one on TV on a rainy November afternoon.
Crazylegs.....
nothing more needs said
Ron Johnson was one of the finest running backs in Michigan history. He just doesn't get the publicity he deserves. Went on to a decent NFL career as well.
RIP Ron Johnson!!!
