So it was important to you to be first only because it is important to somebody else. You are like that asshole (Ausshole in this case?) on the highway that you catch from a mile back and then all of a sudden speeds up when you are about to pass him. Dickhead behavior.

The more I read of and watch videos of Ron Kramer, the more I appreciate just how great a Michigan Man and athlete Kramer was.

I got to meet him once at a luncheon, when he and former Tiger Jim Northrup were the guest speakers. When they opened it up for questions, I had one for Jim, so I stood and began with "Mr. Northrup, ..."
Showing he hadn't lost his gift for good-natured trash talk, Kramer interrupted with "Call him Jim. He doesn't deserve to be called Mr. Northrup."
The place cracked up, and even Northrup, who was famous for his barbed tongue, was stuck for a reply.
Dude, cool it.
