Man I romanticize that game so much, but this is the first time I’ve rewatched the whole thing. Totally forgot how terrible both teams played. That was also the most Denard game ever. Just a comedy of errors. That season will always have a special place in my heart, and I wish there was another Denard to ensure that every game is exciting, but I do not miss that shit show.

This reminds me of last year’s opener where each fan base thinks their team will dominate the other. In the end, don brown always wins. Actually now that I think about it, we played wimbush’s clone in Zaire last year. Yes, we will win this game easily

don't want to post a new thread so i will post it here.  i'm an older poster on this sight, so i've seen a lot of sh*t.

when JH was QB here, he was the best improvisational QB i've ever seen at UM.  i'm guessing that JH sees a lot of the same qualities in patterson that he had.

i remember seeing JH turning tail and run away from the line of scrimmage only to buy time to make a play downfield or run for good yardage.  he was great at that.  it was pure instinct.

here's to hoping patterson has the same skill.  i'm thinking he does having never seen him play before.  if so, we are looking at a great year.

LOL

I anxiously await the numerous weather threads created a week prior to each game this year. Those dumb threads have become a staple to MGoBlog. Everyone knows how to check the weather. Not a single person with a smart phone doesn't have some kind of weather app on their phone.

It's time to put aside our expectations, memories, great wins, and devastating losses of seasons past. Saturday will be the first time Team 139 takes the field as a team against a shared opponent.  60 minutes of football will be the only thing that separates victory from defeat. Score at least one more point than the Irish. Then get back to work. There's no game we can't win. No team we can't stare down. Screw the season predictions, the hard schedule, and the "haven't won X since Y." This is Michigan. This is Team 139. This is game one. Win the game. Let's do this!

But who is the lineman that is going to break our hearts and tranfer?  Did that go away along with 'Mr. I know something but can't tell you'....

As we used to say, down to two days and a wake up

GO BLUE...

Notre Dame fans have been insufferable! So much shit talk, I can't take it. I can not wait for this game to be over with. I am hoping for a dominating win from The University of Michigan, but will gladly settle for a 21-17 win as well.

Go Blue! Three more days!

Let's say Michigan is up 21-10 late in the 4th quarter and ND scores a touchdown to close the gap to 4 points.

What would be more satisfying than sending the offense back out on the field and running out the clock by churning out some first downs ultimately leading to kneeling and handing the ball to the official? Not much.
