There are...
days until we see one of our safeties laying out receivers like Ernest Shazor, and our kickers putting them through the uprights like Brandon Kornblue used to.
Also there are...
or
or
maybe
or possibly
days until we're all excited as Roy and J.T. to see what the 2011 class will shape up to be.
Go Blue!!
Also Welcome Tamani Carter!!

Does anyone think he should wear the #1 jersey next year? I do he just needs to work on the easy passes he dropped, I mostly believe he was thinking about the run after the catch.

It's a stretch to award the #1 jersey next year to any of our current receivers. No one has been a true standout in the mold of the #1. Sometimes the coaches held off on giving it out.
We should see some true playmakers at WR develop if this West Coast offense takes root in AA, because it's more of a pass-first mentality. Keep an eye on all our slot guys; it'll be interesting to see how our receiver corps adapts to a more conventional offensive style.

Braylon wore the #1 jersey after his soph season.
Braylons soph year stats
Edwards, Braylon Total games 13, Catches 67, Yards 1035, AVG 15.4, TD 10, Long 49
Roys soph year stats
Roundtree, Roy Total games 13, Catches 72, Yards 935, AVG 13.0, TD 7, Long 75
The stats are pretty close.
I got the stats from MGOBLUE.COM

He certainly has been impressive at times, but he's also been terribly terrible at others. I don't think he's quite there yet but I'll still cheer for him if he drops the "2" from his uniform next year.

I'll still cheer if he wears #12 next year lol.

I would prefer for Roy to get back to the realm of not dropping anything. Numbers and especially footballs. Sigh...

You have to remember Braylon dropped alot of passes.

Very nice. These are sweet. Also, they were a great way to start my morning during the summer. Now that I don't have to wake up too early for work, I stay up late enough to see them before I go to bed.
