There are...
...days until Mark Messner watches Michigan spank the Warriors into submission.
Mark played for the Wolverines from 1985 to 1989. He actually started every game (49) at defensive tackle and was pretty much a beast. Mark was also the first position player ever to be selected as a first-team All-Big Ten Conference player all four years. Mark also made the first team All-American list in 1987.
Starting to inch closer to fall camp and plenty of football updates! Looking forward to tailgating with family and friends!

so I'm going with that. Not sure how big your calendars are...
One of my absolute favorite Michigan players of all time. Messner tribute compliments of Wolverine Historian:
As a sidenote, I remember seeing Messner a few times when he was not on the field as we used to get music and supplies from Hammell Music in Livonia back in the day and I believe Del Pretty was a partner there. I know the Livonia store is long gone - not sure if they ever picked it back up elsewhere or not quite honestly. It was a nice outfit though.
I don't want to wish my life away but football season can't come soon enough. I think we'll all enjoy 2016 season a lot.
I'm pretty sure Messner did not pancake anyone in his career. He played on the defensive line... right?
but I did see Messner put Mandarich on the ground in what was an all heart battle on Messner's part...to the ground, all 6'6 320 of that steroid abusing numbskull. Copy and paste the link below for a good article on Mandarich, its interesting.
I love summer and all but *$&$%&#$*@!!!!! It can't get here soon enough...
