The Hockey got me refocused and very fired up for the Gator Bowl. I know that makes no sense. Needed an event to start putting the coaching deal in the rearview for a few weeks.
Cool picture too.

One thing I realized over the past two years is just how long the off-season is with no bowl game. The season is short (too short for me anyways) and when you don't go bowling your done in November. Meaning you've got to wait another 9 freaking months for another game.
Now we'll play again in January. Have recruiting nonsense to keep up with for a couple of months and then spring ball. I had forgotten how much fun this is. Sometimes you have to lose something for a little bit to appreciate what you've got.

Just wait until next year when there will be approximately 30 days between our last conference game (B10 championship) and our bowl (NC) game.

Notre Dame next year is going be complete madness.

Be better for a recruit to see the madness and crazyness of the Big House for a hockey game. So then can you imagine the image in his head of performing in front of 110,000 fans at the same venue?
Go Blue! Go crazy!

Plus, they got to see that performance from the basketball team. Great weekend to be on campus.
