Thank You Senior: Jordan Morgan

Submitted by j.o.s.e maizenblue on

Thank you Jordan Morgan for your contribution(s) to the University of Michigan, both on and off the court. Thanks to his leadership, he helped turn the program around, lead us to two regular season big ten titles and runners up in last years national championship game.

Was at times frustrating, but his leadership and character will be missed. What a great year he's had stepping in with Mitch out. What a true Michigan Man!

That guy takes a lifetime of well-deserved memories from this season.

Tonight was J Mo putting it all together. It's amazing that he got his mind in the right place to come on this strong when the team needed him.

To think of where he came from when he got on campus as a slightly pudgy undersized center - hell of a young man.

Thank you JMo. Years from now we'll be talking about you and Trey and Tim and DMo. The guys who brought Michigan back to the top.

Things that went on during his 5 year tenure at playing at Michigan

He played with great players that helped build the program to what it is today with guys Manny, D.Sims, to Novak, Douglass, then Morris, Burke, Hardaway, to Nik, Glenn, Caris, and Mitch.

He seen the Crisler went from looking like dark old auditorium to a almost like new arena.

The team went from finishing somewhere to a middle of the pack team to winning 2 B1G titles in three years.

They went from team that just wanted to make it to the tourney to wanting get past the sweet sixteen to playing in the National Championship.

This is the stuff that happend during his time here and he is one of the many guys that help set the foundation of revitilizing this program and for me he might not be a G.O.A.T (which stands for Greatest Of All Time) player but he cemented himself a long lasting legacy for this program for not only his play but leadership on and off the court and for that Thank You. And hopefully he can help by adding more banners by end of this season.

Thank you, Jordan.

I could type so much on how much he meant to this program, this team, the fans and myself.

I'm just gonna leave it at this to tell his story of his career at Crisler Center.

I'm a little disappointed that only 59 replies on this thread for our hard-working senior and dedicated student-athlete.  Friday night "whatcha drinkin?' threads sometimes get 100+ replies.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to show their appreciation.
