TGIF - Watcha drinking to kick off the weekend?

Submitted by DaveHuck on December 11th, 2020 at 6:39 PM

Enzoni for me. Gin (Brokers), Campari, lemon juice and simple syrup. Muddle grapes (I used blueberries, as I didn't have grapes) and shake with ice. Strain and pour. Consume. Repeat. Look at Christmas tree and all the pretty lights. Wait until Sunday's basketball game.

I have a plan to fix the water issue. Six inch pbc, buried under free ways, solar/ electric 1-2 horse power pool pumps. Get water from where flooding to where arid. Secondly, the amount of grey water wasted is astonishing. My little city does 600k gallons a day. Not potable, but perfect for irrigation.

Looks delicious!  Reminds me of my bartending days many moons ago.

Alternating between Sierra Nevada Torpedo and Switchback Ale.  Been a long week.

clarence, there is way more stuff wrong about me besides 'red pop'.   that said, there is a very good chance i will have a coffee cup with a dash of red pop in it very soon.  barn chores are done.  first real snow storm of the season will hopefully hit tonight/tomorrow.  thinking that bow hunting in the snow tomorrow would be really pleasant.  pretty fair chance that happens, too.

you know you're invited, and you know the way.  plus, i put that 22A gravel down on the camp road so your truck and trailer will have excellent footing.   second rifle season for does starts on monday, you can use your rifle for that.

Fuck, Dave that looks good, even though I can't stand the taste of gin.

Not drinking anything yet but will probably ease into it with a nice packed bowl and a glass or two... or three, it's been a long fucking week, of Petit Verdot.

There's recently been a Coors Banquet shortage for whatever reason. Prefer the 12-pack of stubbies but found a 24-pack of cans. No, I don't work on the set of the show The Ranch just like beer that's not too light or too heavy.

The WT Rare Breed is fantastic. Don’t let the higher proof fool you.

I just kicked off the evening with a Blood & Sand. 3/4 ounce of OJ, sweet vermouth, cherry Heering Liqueur and I went with Monkey Shoulder for the Scotch. Add it all to a shaker with ice, and serve in a chilled glass with a garnish or orange peel.

I've not seen the rare breed rye here yet in Georgia. I will get one if I find one. One of the stores near my office has had a bottle of the Masters keep cornerstone rye on the shelf for a while and I'm tempted to get it but I'm holding out for the rare breed.

One of my favorite ryes is a knob Creek store pick. Worth keeping your eyes peeled for one if you ever see one
