Team One- First ever Women's Lacrosse schedule announced
Michigan's newest varsity sport, women's lacrosse finally unveiled their schedule today.
They will play ALL of their home games at Michigan Stadium. WLAX is the first women's sport as a tennant in The Big House since Field Hockey in the earlly 70s.
Michigan will play this season and this season only in the American Lacrosse Conference. The ALC is made up of Florida, Johns Hopkins, Michigan, Northwestern, Ohio, Penn State and Vanderbilt. Northwestern is a dynasty and it is pretty well documented.
The women should have a much better season than the men did in their innaugural year since they are starting out with a team of scholarship players unlike the men who had club players.

Looks like a quite a few challenging games, but a few winnable games as well. Florida, Northwestern and Hopkins all in a row is one tough 3 game stretch for a new team.
Yeah, Florida (surprisingly enough) and Northwestern are beast teams. Good luck to the ladies!
...to JHU and USNA to cheer on M WLAX.
At least Maryland is nice in May for the national championship.
Welcome to Michigan expectations.
