He might be wearing number 5. Some other kid asked him the same question but this other kids page is private. The other kids posted back to Tate and from what this other kid said, it might be number 5. This would make sense because Minor has 4, which was Tate's high school number. Charles Stewart graduates, so Tate would be the sole owner of #5. In my opinion #5 is a good number for a scrambling QB, if that even makes any sense? Just seems to fit.

Tom's right... I forgot that he would've already been wearing the stuff during previous visits. Maybe MgoObes can disclose whether or not he's even 'officially' throwing, or is it strictly Barwis Beach at this point? As for the Nike thing... we all know they donated truckloads of the Nike stuff to the vets this past year, but the swoosh gear still shows up time and again. As for the real number... I said it before and I'll stick with it: I'm thinking he wears either McGuffie's #2 or Stewart's #5.

No. In fact he was going to give it to JT Floyd before Braylon Edwards intervened. As I understand it, Edwards has set up a scholarship for receivers who wear #1; the stipulation is that it must be earned and not given, and will be determined by superior performance on the field and in the classroom. As a result you won't see a freshman wearing #1, similar to how BE wore #80 for his first two years before Lloyd deemed him worthy of the jersey. Ricardo Miller, presuming he signs with Michigan next year and is as good as advertised, is probably the most likely candidate right now to be the next #1.

... directing that at me, TW_M ... I don't know what else to say. I DID talk to Tate, and he DID say that about Je'Ron. I don't see the benefit in me "making up" a conversation with Tate to announce two things that were probably going to happen anyway.

Is it just me or have the posters become more annoying in the last two or three days? All the repetitive bullshit and the misinformation is making my head spin. Maybe once signing day passes, the number of posts will go back down and only knowledgeable people will be posting once again...

The kindness on this board is palpable. Hey, if you do want to believe my information ... great. If you're so set in your ways that a noob cannot contribute anything relevant ... act like the post never happened.
