Same pregame routine

Same tee shirt, khaki pants, rally hat

Same game food, drinks

Same two Michigan buddies,, same same same

Maximum mojo is locked and loaded

I'm laying on the couch feeling like shit.   That's good news tho, cuz the last 6 times we played these clowns I felt fine.

I bought a new Jordan T the week of western Michigan as well a a new hat to shake off the bad juju of those bastards from south bend. This setup is on a ten game streak so no turning back now. 

Today is the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.

I found a little plastic man on the floor under my seat in the 4th quarter of the triple overtime game against State. Lost it for years and found it after the Notre Dame game this year. We're good!

My wife is working today since she is usually a jinx. I assume it's because she loves Michigan, but I'm sure it's because I'm insufferable on GameDay. (the only game she watched this year was the notre dame game) 

Since my baby girl was born in late January, Michigan bball has won the BTT and advanced to the National Championship, hockey advanced to the Frozen Four, and football is 10-1.

I've got my good luck charm right here.

We are undefeated since I messed up my shoulder, so it's time to crank out some overhead presses and keep it going 

I have not washed the Woodson Jersey since after the Notre Dame game, it smells like victory now.

My friend from Illinois with no rooting interest is going to The Game with a Purdue sweatshirt on.  Fortunately he is 6’7”.

I ask Jobu to come & take fear.  I offer him cigar, rum.  He will come.

After the last couple of decades, the realization finally dawned that my T-shirts, underwear, socks and hats have no mojo.

I have therefore absolved them of responsibility for all of the bad results of the past couple of decades. The Team will win because The Team must win!

I have a block M shirt that is 10-1 this year.  My daughter brought home 2 Revenge Tour t-shirts this Thanksgiving.  Since I just heard Chase has been cleared to play I consider it an omen.  Matching Revenge Tour tees it is!  Time to finish the tour!

Just putting the dog Winston in his Michigan sweater. It arrived the day after Labor Day, so he's undefeated in it.

I wore my “Worst State Ever” shirt to bed last night.  A whole extra 12 hours of mojo

Used my Michigan toothbrush which wasn't working last year because I messed up and used it for Florida; it is actually only for true away games (yep you can blame me for last year).

All systems are go.

Ive got my Michigan football t-shirt on.  Its Nike from about 2001.  Got it at the M Store.  Its a very well made T, thick and it says "Michigan" in Maize with "football" underneath it in a maize round "box" and then a block M underneath that.  It used to have Nike on the sleeve but I cut the sleeves off for the gym.

I also have my 1983 Maize colored, Washburn HB35 guitar in my hands to play during the game.  It was made in Japan by Yamaki, and is every bit as good as any expensive Gibson 335 that Ive ever played. The guitar is probably the only Maize colored one from that era in the world. The action is the lowest Ive ever played on a guitar, and its quite unique.  I'll be playing The Victors all day long on it after a score or big play.

Those are my superstitions.

Got my Wu-tang boxers and M mad wolverine hat on. 3-0 so far.

Already jogged along Lake Michigan's beautiful shores this morning.  She is feisty and ready for a fight.

I'm not going near a bar.  Every time I watch a Michigan football team at a bar, we lose.

I'm at home, beer at hand and I'm not leaving the house.

I break out my game worn Steve Morrison jersey every year for The Game since 2011. Gift from my wife and was lucky the first year...not so much since. Also add my Michigan fleece and put the Michigan bandana for the dog. 

Then I drip chicken blood on the OSU team photo and burn it while chanting a Santeria curse. 

I sat on the couch during the Notre Dame game. Sat on the chair every Saturday since. Best be sure I’m sticking with what’s been working!
