I woke up early and nervous, but the purchasing of tickets was very easy. The best part about it is ROADTRIP. Buying my ticket is my Christmas present to myself. I've never been to the Big Easy, so stoked. GEAUX BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha i know what you mean, I got to work early today at 8. I had the website loaded in case there was a queue, like there was for Tigs playoff tix. So pumped!!

Used Frequent Flyer Miles and Hotel rewards to get free air car and hotel...All I needed was my Tickets..got right thru..Premium Terrace whatever that means..best I could get..I think thats in the 500 sections in the Michigan side...GO BLUE!!!

Question - I reserved my tickets through the Victors Club email on Saturday and recieved a confirmation email. Does this mean I still have to go online and purchase the tickets this morning? I have been on hold for 25+ minutes with the ticket office.

I spoke with the ticket office they said that my 8 club tix are reserved in their system. So you should be all set as well but you might want to give them a quick call to be sure. They did mention that depending on your points and the demand the tix might be a level below. Also, they will be getting the tix from the bowl this week and we should be able to find out where are seats are located next Monday before they send them out.

on mgoblue.com it's only allowing selection of terrace level, and on the phone it just goes to a busy signal. anybody else having these issues? should I assume that all other levels are sold out already?!?

Well now I know for next time. Just bought terrace level seats, better than risking with scalpers since I'm traveling from VA. I was quick to buy my plane tix yesterday in fear of all the Hokies out here taking all the seats, but screwed up with the game tix.

I finally got through to them on the phone, and they've confirmed that they sold out everything other than the terrace level. In less than two hours. This sucks. I might just see what I can get off of stubhub. When I went to the Rose Bowl in '07, I recall that there were plenty of empty seats and it was easy to get tickets the day of, despite the game essentially being a home game for USC.

Flying down from the D on 1/2. Luckily I had some vouchers to take the sting off these crazy flight prices right now!

Not saying it's good, but don't panic. Some tix will be returned, others will be available from the bowl, and there will be some available before the game. With bowl games, hope is almost never lost.

I got some plaze seats. I wanted to be lower and close to the action. I dont know what exact section I got but I told them I wanted to be on the Michigan sideline. This was my first time buying from Mgoblue so I hope it all works out.
By the way if you are military you can stay at the Navy Base in New Orleans. Its a half hour away from the stadium and the rooms are only $27 a night! That saved me some serious cash!
