Pay the players. Hire competent staff. There's 0 reasons for excuses as to why Michigan cant be competitive with teams like msu and Indiana, in an empty stadium no less...in year six. Get rid of dan flippin brown. Whatever competitive drive jim had before, Its clearly not there anymore.

Give Tom Allen credit.  That team looks like it can beat anyone in the Big Ten, and he has probably the biggest recruiting disadvantage, even more over Rutgers, and NW.

Any team in the Big 10 or a bad PSU and a bad Michigan team?

I do give Tom Allen credit. He’s done a great job at Indiana; however, Michigan and PSU are BAD. Maryland might end up being the second best team in the east if they keep rolling.

We're breaking in a QB who hadn't taken a meaningful snap since HS, an inexperienced secondary (missing its best corner), and a new interior OL (IIRC). With no cupcake non-conference schedule, a 1-2 start was a distinct possibility.

Considering this season wasn't going to happen, I'm going to enjoy watching the young guys get experience and pray that our recruiting class doesn't implode.

Don’t worry.  Harbaugh says we’ll be good again once players have confidence to carry over what they learn in practice into games.   He loves coaching this team.   They  practice GREAT.  They just don’t play in games well.  Yet.   He has all the confidence in the world that the coaches and current players will “get this turned around”.  Because they practice great.
