Stadium Curse
On June 21, 2007, the Board of Regents approved a $226 million renovation of Michigan Stadium. The renovation plan has garnered much opposition from students, faculty, and fans around the country.
September 1, 2007 M loses to App St
September 8. 2007 Worst loss in 40 years, first time M has lost 4 straight in 4 decades, M loses first two games in a season for first time in 59 years.
Henne & Hart plagued with injuries for the entire year.
November 10 M loses to W
November 17 M loses to osu (again)
2008 (no explanation needed)
And now this??????
Coincidence or Curse????
M shall SUCK till the stadium is completed.
(Name 1 team that has had a good season while their stadium was being renovated.)

From the "Stadium History" page on umich.edu (after like 10 seconds of research):
"During the 1997 season the University of Michigan Board of Regents approved the expansion of Michigan Stadium that added seats around the stadium and video scoreboards in each end zone."
That year turned out OK.

Hi, I have been assigned as the Executor of Enjoy Life's estate.
He's dead. Some sort of curse we think.
But, I am empowered to tell you that it was all a joke!

Whether you were serious or not, Illinois had a whole bunch of stadium renovation last year and went 5-1 at home and 9-3 in the regular season.
So...yeah.
