Spread tutorial help
A year or more ago, someone did an excellent diary with play diagrams demonstrating all the variations of the option game in the spread - midline, veer, etc. I'd like to find it to give to one of my colleagues in advance of tonight's game. Does anyone have any good tips on how to find it? I've tried a few searches without immediate luck, but I'm about to jump on a plane.
Thanks in advance for any help.

This isn't the exact thing your looking for, but here is a link to SmartFootballs article from last year on Auburns run game under Malzahn. I couldn't find the diary your asking for through a site search.

Multiple types:
You have your creamy spreads, including mayo, creamy peanut butter, nutella, marshmallow cream (a childhood fave), and cheez whiz and the like. Some of thicker and more savory than others (nutella vs. miracle whip), but all fall into the creamy category.
You have your chunky spreads, including chunky peanut butter, pimiento cheese, and the generic-sounding "sandwich spread" which is usually just mayo + relish, although there are other more obscure types out there - your imagination is the limit!
Now, it is possible to have a bit of a hybrid, with some spreads being more creamy than chunky, but still having a little texture. Regardless, this is the best high-level tutorial on spreads I can come up with off the top of my head. You can try stopping by Amir's or Zingerman's for more on spreads (and lunch, as long as you're there).

But the OP asked for a diagram, and I am quite interested in one since I didn't have breakfast.
How can we know what the best play is for this situation?
