Spielman
Easily my favorite Buckeye. He just did a great job crushing NC's lb play on the pass over the middle. Sometimes coaches make football seem so complicated you think your common sense may be wrong, Spielman did a great job of simplifying lb play.
"It's 3rd and 14 what are the lb's worried about the underneath route for"
"In zone defense don't get caught covering dirt, turn and face the WR and get under his route.
Makes me feel better that when I was yelling at the lb's that let guys go right by them or jumped 5 yd routes on 3rd and 24 that Spielman agreed with me.

Tiger surprised me and we never really know these guys, but I've always respected Spielman. What he has endured the last couple of years, I could see the guy needing a little Tiger like spree so the no wedding ring makes some sense.

Are you guys serious?

tiger-like spree? dude, c'mon. There are probably many reasons why he isn't wearing it and that's the one that you come up with?

When Message Board Guy thinks.

I respect the shit out of the guy and he's been through a horrible ordeal.

Maybe I Do need to "relax"--at least as much as a guy who worries about another guy's wedding ring.

Yeah, when I respect the shit out of people I always post about how they're probably on an ambien-fueled sex binge because they need it after their wife died of cancer.

Just FYI, that might be the worst comment I've seen on here.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure she died of cance a couple months back. I'm pretty sure I found that out here.
Edit: My bad I am a dumb f***, Should have read turfboy's post a lil more closley, I'll go put my head in a hole now.......

I don't really have any favorite Buckeyes. Except for J. Boren. Seems like a loyal guy with some quality family values.

I have a confession to make. I've murdered in the past. I've killed, stolen from you, stolen from me.
One special Buckeye helped me to finally deal with these demons. Now it's like everybody does it...

somewhere obi and jonas are saying to themselves, "but i thought coach hopson told us to always worry about the short routes the safeties will save our asses if any one goes deep."

I'm not a Lions fan, but I am a Spielman fan. I am deeply touched by how dedicated he was to his ailing wife. There's that famous story of him showing up to his interview with Bo with torn jeans, a white t-shirt, and chewing tobacco in his mouth. That was 1984 I think. He grew up and became a great family man.

I have only one favorite Buckeye, Woody Hayes. I
never liked any of their players, for obvious
reasons.

Spielman had a terrible life changing ordeal. You
have to respect that, and the fact that he tried
to help the Lions.

Spielman is one of my favorite former Detroit Lions . I also like the guy as a football analyst. He's fun to listen to, fully understands the game and clearly has alot of passion for the sport.
