Enjoy the moment? I am ecstatic right now, with the overall excellence of our class, with Dax being back, with OSU struggling, etc.. I have a smile a mile wide.
Now, am I so happy that I have become delirious and believe that we have somehow actually beaten Nick Saban at something meaningful that matters by stealing one recruit from him? No, no I have not. But along this line, what does it say about Saban, with his embarrassment of riches talent-wise, drawer full of championship rings, and mattresses full cash that he goes out of his way to try and ratfuck Harbaugh over one recruit?
I agree with your overall sentiment, that this one flip doesn't really change much in the power scheme, but Saban didn't try to bring in Dax Hill on the merits of Alabama, he tried to deceive the kid with the 'ol Harbaugh bolting for the NFL trick. I get programs like MSU or Penn State pulling that shit, but Alabama? Seems kind of bush league for a team at the top of the heap.
