IDGAF if the extra money can be used to buy Rutgers some new cleats, and Michigan State tunnel chaperones for their third stringers. No body in the Big Ten was lobbying for Michigan in 2006 to get an extra shot. They can get their money from their NY6 consolation bowl.

I don't remember Delany cheerleading for Michigan to be in the championship game. It might have gotten lost in the sea of "you had your chance". So he might have.
Still. If Michigan lost by 22 today I doubt anyone outside of the world of Michigan Football would have been saying that they deserve another shot in a little over a month from now right after the game. They lost. They get to sit on their hands and pray that everyone that they need to lose loses so they can fall in to the 4 spot to get creamed by Georgia.

Eh, Warren is doing his job as B1G commissioner to get two B1G teams in the playoffs. Losing by 22 at home though--OSU can probably forget it.
