So is Feagin so bad that.....

..... he couldn't do what Siller did for Purdue today? I know it's been stated numerous times that he isn't close to playing QB but supposedly Siller has taken most of his reps at RB this year right? You just can't help but wonder if at least the threat of a QB that can legitimately run would open up some other things. Minnesota's defense is no Purdue and that's not a good thing.

I think Siller was actually recruited as a QB by more than one school. Also has much better size.  So no, I don't think Feagin could do it.

Coaching staff must agree, saw him out there on special teams wearing the number 30.

RR must not think he's going to be a good slot guy or he wouldn't have burned his red shirt...why have a mediocre guy using up a scholarship?

I don't know, but I'm not down on the offense right now.  Purdue's D has actually had a pretty good season.  They only gave up 20 points to PSU, 9 to OSU (7 came on a punt return) and 17 to Minnesota.  (They did get shredded by NW.  I don't know what happened there.)  For us to score 35 offensive points is pretty good.

I think the offense is definitely making strides, even with Threet being inconsistent and possibly not entirely healthy.  Right now I am far more worried about the other side of the ball.
