So, after we win tomorrow

Yeah, don't tempt fate. f@ck that. After we WIN tomorrow, who do we root for in Wisconsin v Minnesota? I really wanted to have the Fighting Frosts to hang on so the B1G Title Game could be for The Jug, but absent that, I'm torn between the difficulty of beating the Badgers twice vs the incredible aptitude of the Hawkeyes for turning sh#t into Shinola.

If we win the game tomorrow it should not matter what team we face. BRING YOUR BADGERS AND GOPHERS. THEY ARE MEAT.

I’ve moved to 50/50 we win tomorrow. If it’s anything other than a blowout I like our chances. Hit them in the  mouth early and let’s goooooooooooo!

50/50! I'm sippin' on some Kool Aid as well, but sounds like you might have the hundred proof stuff lol.

All joking aside, I do think Michigan can script a game where they can keep this thing close and give themselves a shot at the end to win it. Sounds like Vegas has their odds at about 25% based on the spread. I think our chances are a little better than that, but I don't think this will be a coin flip matchup for us. I would say 35/65 we pull out the victory.

Just hope these kids don't come out and play too tight, carrying the weight of nearly two decades of losses on their shoulders. That is not their burden to carry. Just go out there and execute the game plan, don't blow assignments, play their asses off and have fun playing in the best rivalry game in sports. If they can do that, I think they'll give themselves a chance.

Honestly, I really couldn't care less who comes out of the West. I've been solely focused on pondering scenarios in which Michigan can win this game tomorrow. If they have the good fortune of actually doing it, I'll take any and all comers out of the B1G West.

I would much rather play Iowa.  Wisconsin has had much better advanced metrics all year, even when Iowa was #2 (lol) and the Badgers were left for dead.  Now the latter has reverted to the mean, and the former is still a bit due for a correction

Plus I despise rematches in college football generally

Sounds like this has not been substantiated. A few posters tried to put this on the board and got locked/removed. I have seen a couple random Twitter accounts claim Schwarzel is doing the game, but I haven't seen any credible source confirm it yet.

Would be absolutely ridiculous if that actually turns out to be true.

Of course, I'd love to go to the playoffs or win a national title. But, there will be no game bigger this year in my mind other than tomorrow's game against OSU.  Beat them and I could not care any less about who we play after that.

If we win I could care less about any other game after. Get our asses waxed in the big championship, doesn’t matter. Actually that’s taking it a little far. Win this game and it’s a mic drop moment. When I was attending games in the 90’s thoughts like this were never a concern. Oh how I hope OSU gets to experience the hell we all have.

I think Iowa's the better matchup for Michigan. They seem to live off of opponents' turnovers and special teams mistakes, both of which UM is fantastic at avoiding. Plus, Iowa's QB is a statue, giving Hutchinson and Ojabo a chance to shine on prime time national TV.
