Shutdown Fullcast crew at The Game

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, moms please delete if I missed it.

Then Shutdown Fullcast (the internet's only college football podcast) crew and friends of the blog Holly Anderson, Spencer Hall and Jason Kirk were at The Game and spent much of their podcast talking about their experience (Holly and Spencer joined the John U Bacon roast that Seth set up for the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase).  I really enjoyed their anecdotes (including a truly inspirational story about Michael Barrett connecting with a young Michigan fan) and they are always hilarious.  They obviously talked about a lot more than just our game but Michigan is referenced throughout and Ohio State gets dragged so often that I think it's worth your time.  (This is from a separate feed called "Fullcast After Dark" fyi)

I would also highly recommend going through each of their twitter feeds from Saturday (Spencer had a particularly good dig at Columbus).  None are primarily Michigan fans but they all seem to really embrace U of M (helps that we dominate the Charity Bowl every year) and enjoy many of our midwestern idiosyncrasies.  In fact, they had a joyous and hilarious episode on their main feed a few years ago after they discovered Dan Dierdorf and Jim Brandstatter's lovable broadcasts.

Yep.  As a Lebatard fan I listened to this earlier this evening! Didn't know the crew was headed to and went to the game but yes, regardless of this week's self-interest they're a good follow if you're a fan of the sport.

This was an excellent episode! The Michael Barrett story is freaking amazing. There is a joy and giddiness from all of them, who are not Michigan fans, that is just so infectious.

I give this episode a 12/10.

The Fullcast and their extended universe is by far my favorite part of CFB fandom. I really, really enjoyed this episode and hearing their earnest joy at their experience here.
