Im trying to remember the name of the circle drive at the High School on 13 mile now. No Michigan connection but I believe its a famous donor of some sort.

Missed opportunity to name the street after Wangler, name a driveway any non-deviant alum you can find named Carter, and have all of your school directions end with Wangler to Carter.

As of the Google Maps picture taken in August 2018, there still is "Chicken Shack Drive" right by the High School (on 13 Mile: the grade school is down on 12 Mile)

Very nice indeed. It's interesting that it was Royal Oak and not Ann Arbor, but all the same, I like it.

If you're going to name a street in this immediate vicinity after a Michigan player, it should be hands down John Wangler, who went to RO Shrine, lead the team to Bo's first bowl victory, and beat Ohio State in the process.
Patterson may turn out to be a great UM QB this season, but that's in the future.
