Scouting Report: Adoree' Jackson

Submitted by Magnus on

This week my scouting report is on Gardena (CA) Junipero Serra cornerback Adoree' Jackson, who is originally from Illinois and is familiar with the midwest.  Michigan offered him a few weeks back, and he has shown interest, although he has also said that LSU is his dream school.  He's an electrifying player who could play a few different positions in college.

The fact he is open to going east to play might give us a foot in the door.   Normally you see a guy like this staying on the west coast somewhere.  Like always, getting him on campus will be the next big goal.

Kiffin is so vulnerable that every program will take a hard run at him. Plus, Robert Woods has been less than glowing about Kiffin, so the alma mater connection might be a weakness for USC. Once he visits AA then we can consider him a viable target.

comment entails, but LSU as a stated favorite supports my point. Junipero Serra is 10 miles from USC and a Trojan stronghold with Woods, Farmer and Lee in just the last few years. Woods stated his annoyance at Kiffin's playcalling and overall dysfunction. Hence, his interest in LSU or UM or others is helped by Kiffin's mess.

Has he shown much interest to date? I know his name keeps popping up regarding targets for Michigan and as a target into which the coaches seem to be pouring  a lot of energy, but I have not seen anything attributed to Adoree' that leaves me all that hopeful. From what I have heard and in a comparison of measurables, between Adoree' and Peppers I think Michigan stands a better chance of landing Peppers (you provided Hoke waits a season to leave for the NFL)

You know about a year and a half ago when I had just got done with grad school for the first time, I would have been all about it. I had all the free time in the world. Now, I'm in the middle of my second thesis and I don't have time for shit. That's why I need the app, so I can use company time instead of mine.

...saw his Serra team torch my high school team (which a pretty good squad with a couple D1 players) this year. Jackson had a few nice receptions on O, couple nice tackles, nice pick for about 25 yards...and is a monster punt returner. Also went to same school as USC stud receivers Marquise Lee & Robert Woods.

I gave up compliance and now am working to becoming an athletic director in a St Louis high school. Where buy I can unethically convince the gifted athletes to go to Michigan. There are some schools on the Metro East side that are beginning to pump out some D1 kids, such as O'Fallon and Edwardsville IL. So yes I have some devious intentions.
