Scout Recruiting Predictions
I see on the Michigan Homepage on Scout.com there is an article that scout has there recruiting predictions for the players in the Army Bowl. Could someone that has scout maybe post who they have going to Michigan, I'm assuming there is something about Michigan sense its on the Michigan Page

They have 7 people predict each guy:
Parker- 2 UM, 5-USC
Mathis- 2 MSU, 5 Oregon (Nice call on Sparty)
Henderson- 2 Minne, 1 ND, 4 OSU
There are no other Michigan related projections.

I'm surprised at the 5/2 in favor of USC on Parker. If they're already stacked at safety, plus the likely loss of Carroll, I would have guessed the exact opposite. Oh well....let's hope Scout is wrong.

thank you and yeah that surprises me too

I'm no recruiting expert, but one would have to think that M is now the favorite to get Parker, especially since he dropped Cal

Some recruits like the school and don't really care who the coach is, or rather, who the coach is is not necessarily one of their top concerns. Just b/c Carroll is leaving doesn't necessarily mean that changes anything for Parker. I would think if the 5-2 lean favors USC, the people that follow recruiting for their living have at least SOME valid reason for it. So what makes you still think U of M is the leader?

You are correct. Robert Woods said he still plans to be a Trojan b/c of the school, with or without Pete.

coach is in limbo right now, these guesses probably don't mean much. If Pete leaves, who even knows what type of D USC will run?

It could be a problem, however, if the perception is that Pete is leaving just ahead of NCAA sanctions being levied.

I can tell you that as was said in a thread earlier this week, when recruits stop talking to Michigan guys--namely KinG Beaver, Hemholdt, and Blue Sam--it looks bad. See Murphy and Grimes. Things now don't look so good with Grimes. He has shut communication with UM guys down for a week or so.
But Parker is still talking to UM guys--albeit not a whole lot--but enough that there is a pretty positive feeling about him.

anyone know what baxter said in his interview after the game?

I think alot of it depends on who USC brings in.If its someone from the current staff who gets promoted then there probably won't be alot of decommits. But most likely it will be someone on the outside(Chow,Riley) and that will really shake things up.Closing with some USC commits or leans would be sweet.I'll gladly take Baxter, Prater, and Parker.Anyone else OK with this?

Yea, and a report said that Carrol was trying to get some of his current staff to go with him to Seattle, which would prolbably include anyone that would be under consideration, unless USC offered the job soon of course. But yes i would gladly take Parker and Baxter, and if Prater was included that would be unreal.
