Saturday Box Seat Pictures+ (56k WARNING)
Said I would post these following our win Saturday, so here they are. My brother, dad and I were fortunate enough to be invited to sit in a box for the game. I snagged a few pics using my phone, so excuse the quality. Overall it was an amazing experience, and I was very happy not to be caught out in the monsoon!

What does the crowd noise/band sound like inside the boxes, since the windows don't open?

All the windows open except for window in front of the stairs (very smart design, I think). With the windows closed you hear very little of anything (unless the crowd is REALLY roaring, like when the rain first hit), but you hear everything well with them open.

So now that you've sat in the suites... what is your preference: bowl, suites or chairbacks?
I don't think I'd be a huge fan of the windows.

The dividers between the windows did tend to get in the way. The boxes were nice because it was HOT outside and nice and cool inside, it didn't rain inside, plenty of bathrooms for how few boxes there are, and they serve some pretty darn good food. It was an awesome experience.
All that said, I prefer being in the bowl. The box is great because of the amenities, but I think you really miss out on the atmosphere of being at the game. I will be at the UTL game this weekend and I will be very happy to be back in the bowl.

I'm not entirely sure what Brian was looking for, but these might be good candidates for the MGoBlog Picture Pool. Then, you wouldn't have to worry about the hosting of the pictures.

The food is good 'box' food. But the owner of the box picks the menu, from chesse and crackers and fruit (low end) to shrimp, etc. (high end).
So, I'd go with the owner who will drop the most money...

Congrats on getting to watch opening day from the box. It might not be the same experience as down in the bowl, but I am sure that it is memorable as well . . .

Box seats are pretty BA, but it has been my experience that unless you're with a number of close friends, it's a much more enjoyable experience being in the stands.
