This Sat in NYC there was a post about a 'tween game event, deleted?
Last night I scanned a post with good info about what M fans are doing in NYC between games, but today the post seems to have been deleted.
who has the info about the locale and sign up? was this really taken down?

To the OP, it was on the second page of MGoBoard (if not on mobile), and for me to access that on a non-phone I have to open the next page in a new tab/window. I deduct him no points.

It didn't get taken down, it just got run off to the second page of the board within 5 hours since so many other posts started. Here was the info
If any alums in the greater NYC area are
1) Going to either or both of the basketball or hockey games at Madison Square Garden against Penn State this Saturday
OR
2) Live in the area and want to watch the game(s) with other Michigan fans
The UM Club of NYC and the School of Kinesiology are co-sponsoring a gamewatch/between game party at a bar called American Whiskey 247 W 30th St, New York, NY 10001 (right down the street from MSG. Basically Michigan has the whole bar for the day so whether you want to watch the games or have a nearby place to go between, here's your ticket.
You need to register to get in by following this link:

By the way, MSG just released a bunch of tickets that Penn State couldn't sell so if you're still interested in going to the games, click here to get tix:

As a rule, information about meetups will never be removed - this is a community and we encourage community-type things (that's a atechnical term, of course). Because recruiting is dominating the discussion and generating a thread every 0.25 seconds, however, it can easily fall off the front page within moments.

thanks for sending the link. I tried to search for the damn thing and wasted a bunch of time.
but still not as much of a time waster as the guy who wants to know what Rashan Gary's butt smelled like.
