If 504 yards of total offense for Rudock is correct, he is now second in the list of total offense dominated by Denard and Devin - that is nuts.

Congratulations to Jake. Also amazing that the last Michigan player to be honored was LB Brandon Herron (September 4, 2011).

The pass that JMFR, before he was JMFR, tipped and Herron returned 94 yards for the TD. Herron kept running and was never heard from again.

After a performance like last night, where Jake really was carrying the day in several regards, this is a well-deserved honor and congratulations to him. I know there were people in the liveblog and on the board last night who were hoping - as the game wore on - that we wouldn't see "Week 1 Jake", as someone put it, but what we've seen week-to-week is improvement, in my opinion, and now some nice kudos for hard work. Well done indeed.
