I wish I could go but Detroit is a 4 hour drive nowadays. Not really my kind of music but I've seen a TON of bands play live that I wasn't really in to because live music is just fun, especially after the pandemic.
I do like the 2 man (woman) bands though ... White Stripes, Local H, Black Keys (seeing them in Sept), Flat Duo Jets .....
Yeah I've been overcompensating for seven(!) years since my last concert. I saw Kishi Bashi at Cincinnati last-last weekend, and the joy of finally being able to perform was just palpable on his face. I'm also seeing Regina Spektor, and - best of all - Florence+the Machine later this year and I'm incredibly pumped (don't you know?) to see her.

Can't go, but I saw them open for Queens of the Stone Age a few years back and they were great! Somebody better snatch these up!

Oh, they're legit. Your friends are missing out, for sure. There's just a much better chance of them going on tour again, than there is of Jawbreaker. I'm really bummed that they're both on the same night.

Bummer. I really wanted to see them, but had to opt for Jawbreaker at Crowfoot instead. 🤷
