Roll Call for Big Ten Tourney in Chicago!

Submitted by True Blue 9 on March 6th, 2023 at 1:52 PM

I've decided I'm washing myself of last week. Losing two games in OT made me sick but I legit thought this morning, 'imagine how the players feel?'. It's so easy to get caught up in the moment and to get angry. But I guarantee you no one is as pissed, disappointed, etc. as the players & coaches are.

So, I'm letting it go and am ready to move on to the Big Ten Tourney. New season baby!

With that said, I'd love to hear who is going to the Big Ten tourney in Chicago? Just got tickets for 4 of us for the early session Thursday and I am fully planning on attending on Friday WHEN we beat Rutgers. This team isn't perfect, in fact they can be incredibly frustrating. But I'm fired up as hell to support them this week!

Your optimism is refreshing, TB9. And your bubble posts have made MGoBlog fun these past few weeks, despite the bad luck on the court. March is for believing, so I appreciate them!

As far as the BTT, I live in Chicago and look forward to going every time the tourney is here. Just seems like too often we get the short end of the stick and get slotted in these 11am local game times. Best bet for me right now is hope the win Thursday, and then play hooky from work or go to a “doctor’s appointment” on Friday.

FYI for out-of-towners - This Saturday 3/11 will be St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the city, so it should be a zoo.

TB9 you've been doing the Lord's work over these past couple of weeks and I know I speak for just about everybody here (I'd say everybody but every group as big as ours has an asshole or two) when I say THANK YOU for all your efforts.

And with that being said I will now take over your job and post our rooting efforts in all the various conference championships that will be taking place this week so we know who we want to win to enhance Michigan's chances of making the big dance.

Every single conference in America:

Who gives a fuck.  If Michigan doesnt win the B1G we've got basically no chance for a bid.

God bless you and your optimism.

However, I believe the clinical term for this is:

"The triumph of hope over experience."

I confess I will be watching on TY.
