He's in town, he's going to class, there are still things that need to be decided. The concussions are part of the issue.

McGuffie's "weighing his options" Carson Butler "exploring the draft" and Avery Horn "considering transferring".

Tell him the draft is seven rounds long; that is the extent of the "exploring" he needs to do. Other than that, the only relevent draft he needs to focus on is the draft is the one coming through an open window.

Carson Butler is exploring the draft?! ha... thats ridiculous. He needs to a) pick a position b) get playing time and then c) be good, first in order to go the draft.

Does the Arena League or the CFL have a draft? I wouldn't be surprised to see him in MMA if he fails at football.

if anything will teach him to block...

He is generally worth at least one hold per match.

given his on the field history and the WLA quiz post about C Butler...I'd say Orton and Couture should be worrying. Chuck darby claims to eat hearts...C Butler actually does.
Has there been a bigger disappointment in terms of potential and flashes of greatness than Carson Butler?

...Perhaps?

if you eliminate the phrase "flashes of greatness" yes. I not for one snap ever thought Grady was anything even remotely special. he made me long for the days of Chris Howard.

Honestly, given the guy's long history of doing stupid things, do we really want him back?

I wouldn't even classify a casualty like this "attrition". I would call it "purging" instead.

He's interviewing at the McDonald's on Jackson.
This is not attrition- it is right sizing.
