There are two Michigan stories today. The one from home is the already discussed asinine Sharp column. The one from the Columbus Dispatch is about...how RichRod walked in to a surprisingly bad situation and how he might get run out of town before he really has a chance to establish himself with his own players. What?
What kind of weird alternate universe are we living in?

The Columbus Dispatch was the only newspaper giving him a fair shake last year around this time.

has actually been one of the more objective M football sources for a while. I remember a nice article last year about how Rodriguez stood with Harrison on Senior day because his parents couldn't make it or something like that. I remember some nice quotes from Harrison about Coach Rod.
Of course the story did not appear in any local papers.

For whatever reason, that is a source of good in a sea of villainy. It's good of Rittenberg to link to it, although I still think someone should take a dump in his lunch for his other recent reporting.
