I googled it, took me longer to type them than to find it. Very first link that came up.
Get someone else to look up and type up something you are too lazy to do yourself!
the OP would probably have to have pressed approximately the same amount of buttons on his keyboard to find out himself, PLUS not had to wait for his answer.
I typed in the wrong letters or somethin
Here you go, sir:

is appreciated...
At least you admit your stupidity.
way to show your arrogance
No Problem
I'd like to comment on this thread but I have no idea what to say. So, I guess this gets me another meaningless point.
I'm just really glad no one played the arrogant route and gave him the whole "you don't know? How can you call yourself a Michigan Man? etc."
Kudos to my ol' friend WolvinLA and the rest for just helping someone learn more about the UM lore. There's some really good stories wrapped up those names, and not many people take the time to learn about all of the history wrapped up in the Wisterts, in Harmon's amazing war career, and how legit of a player Ford was. Good stuff.
I got picked up hitchhiking from campus home to Toledo by one of the Wistert brothers and learned from him that another of the brothers lived just a few blocks from me in Toledo.
I wish UM would have a consistent policy on retiring numbers. If they still do it, why no talk about eventually retiring a number for Woodson, Howard, maybe Leach or Long? If they don't believe in retiring jerseys anymore, then make all 99 numbers available again, and give the older players a special recognition in some other way.
They're not going to retire any more. There actually was discussion about retiring #21 in honor of Desmond, but they decided that they were starting to run out of numbers. If they could do it over, they probably wouldn't have retired any, but what's done is done.
Yeah, retiring number can be tricky, there are only so many.
At USC, they retire the numbers of the guys who win Heisman's, and nobody else. There are 5 or 6 of them I think, picturing them from inside the stadium.
So reading through that article on mgoblue. It seemed like a lot of the players that got their jersey's retired were two way stars and a Heisman trophy winner.
To me, it would seem like Woodson's # would be a prime candidate to be retired at some point. Though we have to remember that it took a long time for some numbers to be retired (like Ford's). So even if it is a good candidate, it may not be retired for many many years.
Other guys who are strong candidates IMO
Desmond
AC/Braylon
more than 30 min's from Michigan Stadium I was raised maize and blue... I know the history, but retired numbers just don't seem to be the top of our priority list.
If they retired Woodson's #2, how could they also retire Crable's?
LOL...Crable's jersey...that was funny.
Could always do something odd like Va Tech. They retired Vick's jersey, but still give the number out to players. Don't ask me how that works...
Can I get a VA Tech Sweater for my dog with Vick's number on it?
