Recruiting dead period extended through May 31
I’m just gonna assume football season will be cancelled so I won’t be as crushed when it is cancelled.
That's literally what everyone on the internet who makes that claim is doing, either that, to get a rise out of people, or get clicks. There's no reason to go there until baseball, basketball, and maybe even intil next year's US k-12 school year is postponed.
Furthermore, that move to cancel Wimbledon? Totally lame. Is there a sport other than e-sports when the crowd is less necessary than tennis?

Thank You. I don't know if there will be football or not this fall, but we need to look at the calendar and remind ourselves it is still April 1st.
The "go or no" decision on football likely needs to be made by end of June. We are still 2+ months away from that.

Does anyone think that the football signing periods are going to get pushed back? It doesn’t seem fair to the kids who didn’t get to take all their visits.
Should be. Go back to February, at least for the 2020-21 recruiting season.
No sports until we have a vaccine. How can you group people together? 2020 is long lost.
That’s a bit extreme. I don’t think a vaccine is required to return to “normal” at least not without more data first. What if we do antibody testing and discover that there is widespread immunity? It is certainly possible. Or maybe we come up with an effective treatment, even if not a cure, in that time.
