Rebuilding Mode

We all know the definition of Insanity.  Doing the same thing over and over with the same results.

This team will not be better in 2020.  The will most likely be worse.  The coaches have failed to recruit a strong pipeline of talent on both Lines, QB and RB.

The DL depth chart is particularly terrible and will take 2-3 recruiting cycles to rebuild.

2016 was JH's best Michigan team...and it was with Hoke's players who were strong on both sides of the lines.

Hate to say it...but its going to get worse before it gets better.

Oh BS.  We improved greatly after the PSU game.  The offense looks better and will only improve.  Get some good DT's for D and its a much better team than this year.  I know everyone wants us to be elite but not every team can be that.  We did MUCH better than I thought we would this year installing a new offense and how the start of the season began.

We will be breaking in a new QB and possibly 4 new OL. We lose 1/2 are secondary and our leading tackler(after the way he played today, might not be a terrible thing). We will also have to replace Uche, Kemp, and Danna on the DL. Lot of new faces next year at key positions. And save the BS about doing better than “you” expected. Michigan was picked to win the division in the preseason and got out scored 119-62 in their 3 losses this year. They will be no closer to winning the division or beating OSU next year

Have to disagree with you on everything but DT. If this year's true freshman do not take big steps then that will a big problem spot along with CB but offensive line should be fine and RB should bring back Haskins and a healthy Charbonnet.

Just wait til Spring. The media will tell us our players look great and we’ll win the conference. Everyone here will buy it. We’ll be putting bets on McCaffery to win the Heisman and UM to make the playoffs. Then none of which will come close to happening. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I think we will again be a good football team next year.  But we won’t beat Ohio State.  We may never beat Ohio State again.  We should all eat a bunch of Arby’s tonight, because “good” and “not in the BIG title game” is our ceiling.

Whoever they bring in to replace Harbaugh will get pasted too. It's not a Harbaugh vs Day problem, or a Harbaugh vs Meyer problem, or a RichRod problem, or a Hoke problem, etc etc ... It's a Michigan vs Ohio State problem. They have an elite program. We have a good program. They spent the social media age building up while we played magical chairs with coaches. Now they're an elite destination for national recruits. We ... Are not.

The program is champions in their own minds, but mental midgets on the field. We're an upper mid tier team and that's all we'll be. Not gonna be elite like OSU for decades. Maybe a year here and there at best. Accept it.

We need to just blow it up and start over.  Meyer is gone and we still tanked big in the one game that mattered.  This season was at a loss early and it wasn't even the offense. Our D was exposed and exploited yet again.  Just forget about the game.  We'll never win it.

Michigan’s got to play the long game here. The real long game.

Let OSU win so many times that they just lose interest in the game, and that’s when you sneak up on them and kick them in the balls. May take 40-50 years but we can do it!

We are seeing the result of not signing the game breaking 5 stars.   We have mostly a team of middling three stars and a couple four stars and it just athletically doesn’t match up with Ohio State.    We’ve talked about it nonstop, but their secondary and defensive tackle recruiting in the last several cycles has been abysmal.
