The real reason for the World Cup upsets is...

" ...yes, now scientists have now ..."
Brilliant writing... blech!
MGoApologies
that Tim Howard threw that bomb to Donovan during the Algeria game. And I was really starting to believe that he was actually the Terminator...
but the article says that the scientists found that as result of being 'too perfect' that the balls will travel 'a little less far'. So who knows. My bet is this is study was funded by Adidas to find some excuse for why the ball is behaving so oddly, without making their product look bad.
Im glad money is being spent on how a soccer ball flys versus any of the millions of questions that could enhance life of people or animals around the world.
no, you were right the first time
likes to have seams on the ball so they can control the spin and where the ball is being placed. They have come to know how to manipulate the ball flight to their liking thus making it more unpredictable in flight.
Juabulani ball has little to no seams and it's harder to manipulate(or takes longer for players to figure it out) the ball flight into a place where it's hard for goalkeeper to read the ball flight.
and maybe you should redo this as "OT." because this has NOTHING to do with Michigan.
Brazil, Netherlands, Spain, Argentina, Germany are in the quarters...
What upsets?
the same powers as years past are going to the final four - whining about the ball is loser talk.
If everyone plays with the same ball it's an even contest.
Plus it's ugly. I wish they'd go back to the classic black-and-white pentagon pattern.
So its basically a knuckleball. Makes sense.
discover World Cup fans are whiners.
"The whining, in some cases, is louder than the vuvuzela, although at a higher pitch."
Does it help you get in too good of shape too??
