Real Nice Write-up On Benjamin Hall - 2023 RB Recruit
Here's a nice write-up about Benjamin Hall. They talk to him, and talk about his overall leadership and work in helping to build the 2023 class. Also, there's a mention of Coach Hart thinking Hall could be the next Hassan Haskins? Uhh, that kinda got me fired up! After reading the article, I can sense why Coach Harbaugh and Coach Hart like this young man.
Go Blue!
It's so awesome that Hassan Haskins is used as a standard for running backs to compare themselves. Dude was a 3-star with Purdue as probably his next-best offer. But he worked hard and became a legend at UM. Great find by the coaches too.
It really warms my cockles.
"...really warms my cockles."
Might wanna get that checked out. LOL
Jay Harbaugh said that Hassan Haskins was a 5 star level target on Michigan's board. They had to play it cool so that nobody else would catch on and make it a competitive recruitment.
At that very time, people on this board were calling for his head and saying that he should have never been given the RB coach duties. Tells you everything you need to know about listening to random people on internet boards.
LOL!! There are still people that say that! After all of the excellent coaching and recruiting Jaybaugh has done in Ann Arbor, there are still plenty of people on this board just itching to fire him for no other reason than 'NEPOTISM HIRE'.
Some people are just hateful idiots...
I think Jay will go to the NFL, and then one day return as our head coach. Heard it here first.
His hello post definitely supports the argument for a scouting win. I’m just a little skeptical because he was getting run at LB while buried on the depth chart. Seems odd to do with a back you value as a 5 star, but this is a Harbaugh team. . .
im in my 40s and still don't know what a cockle is.
Dictionary says either a mollusk or a shallow boat.
Hassan Haskins?
Yes, please!
OP’s User Name definitely doesn’t check out in this instance. No nervousness to be found. Hall seems like a great kid. Go Blue!
Cockle-warming is a long-standing Michigan tradition. Goes back to the early days when cockles got cold regularly
