  1. Did anyone see what Steven Threet did on this 58 yard run? He turned his head saw the defensive back chasing him and immediately put two hands and secured the ball so that god couldn't even take it from him. It was funny at first, but EVERY player should do that the way we are securing the ball. Hopefully he is leading by example.
  2. I am sick of hearing about how this was an upset. That game wasn't an upset, it was freshman inexperience, Michigan talent and illogical preseason poll assumptions. (and Wisconsin choking)
  3. In one of the funniest moments of Michigan Football ever, as the game ended and the stadium emptied, there was a Wisconsin fan standing in the student section just dejectedly staring at the field wondering what had just happened and how his team lost. Some Michigan students loudly said, "Hey look at that kid! He is soooo pissed!" and then another, "I got to get a picture of this! Let me get my camera out and lets go closer to him!" These guys went RIGHT UP to this kid and get a perfect picture of him staring at the field with the scoreboard in the background. After the picture was taken, they all said, "That is DEFINITELY going to be my facebook picture for the next two weeks!" Hahahhaahah!! Who's jumping around now?
  4. I was so excited to see Morgan Trent get to return the ball off the punt because of this speed, but then we found out why he is a defensive back and not a wide reciever. Damn!

I was watching the game with a friend of mine from Germany, so I had to explain a lot of things throughout the game.  Right before Threet's 58-yarder I was just telling him about how important it is to carry the ball the right way and how people will try to strip it when they tackle you -- so you can bet we were both watching in horror thinking about those DBs knocking the ball away, when suddenly Threet looked back and criscrossed his hands over the ball in an iron deathgrip for the last few steps! We absolutely loved it!

in the past by the name of Laurence Ricks (1979-82), the #9 all time leading rusher in Michigan history.  I don't know if he had fumble-itis in practice or what, but he rarely fumbled because he almost always ran with both hands on the ball.  Really strange to see, but hey, it worked.

He was a WR in high school and was being recruited as a four-star WR for college.

I think much of the fumble has more to do with not having carried the ball for what, five years?

By definition, this was an upset.  We were unranked and Wisconsin was ranked 8th.  There's nothing insulting in calling it an upset.  That's just what it was.

As for #3, honestly, that sounds like the kind of asshole meathead thing that we mock MSU fans for doing.  Wisconsin suffered a devastating loss.  It's one thing to talk smack while the game's on, but afterwards, just leave the other fans alone.  Look, that guy already had a LONG drive home to think about.

Yeah I felt kind of bad after, but we had some pretty big assholes from Wisco sitting behind us who repeatedly chanted "Michigan Sucks" and "Bottom of the Big Ten!" everytime we turned the ball over, so it made me feel better.
