Purdue 35. Missouri 3

Big challenge next weekend in West Lafayette. This Purdue team is damn good and they have a coach in Brohm that was lighting it up last year at WKU. The red zone issues need to get fixed in the next 6 days.

I watched a lot of the purdue game today and they impressed me.  Blough can throw it around and they have a good TE that can run.  They are playing with high energy and need to be taken seriously.  As bad as Missouri is, it is still impressive to roll into an SEC team's house and completely beat the shit out them.

I have all the faith in the world that our defense will give Purdue is worst offensive output of the season.

The question is if I trust the offense enough to score enough points to win. I don't.

I can easily see Purdue scoring just enough points to win in a 17-14 kind of game.

the play calling is vanilla for a reason. Sometimes I think the staff knows the defense will win the game for them and the force the offense to try and make plays with a vanilla attack. Even when the box is stacked we still like to run into it. Seems like they are not wanting to put things on film at all. I know the red zone is bad but they play calling seems dumbed down for a reason. If you add 10-14 points to our total each game it would feel a lot different than it does right now. There has been a lot of points left out there. Maybe I am way off with this but it just seems like they are purposely forcing them to work harder than they need to. It s been rough to warm ch at times but I trust this defense to stop just about anyone. That was Air Forces lowest rushing total in three years.
