1201 or Maizen or whoever he is this week is ruining this blog for me. Why can’t he just go away. His negativity is unbearable. If you think you have all the answers why don’t you apply for the Michigan AD job?? You’re a loser with nothing better to do than criticize everything Michigan does. Go root for another team!! Nobody likes you!! Please go away!!

He is the poster child for the grown adult living in mom's basement. Nobody should have the time to research multiple team message boards on a daily basis.
I think what most people are missing is that guys like him actually get off on the negative feedback. He's baiting the board to satisfy him and, unfortunately, we usually take that bait.
Best course of action is to ignore, but it's hard when douchebags are gonna douche

I don't want to start a cc thread but I'm intrigued and haven't heard anything about Matt McMahon. Haven't scoured all the mid majors but he definitely had an eye for talent in the case of Ja Morant.
Interested in other semi-obscure names if others are scouring Kenpom for good mid-major-ish coaches. Even if just for fun.

Seriously. He's just some guy with opinions. No actual knowledge about football or basketball. Take all of his opinions exactly as they are, opinions. The only reason why he isn't some obscure poster on this site is because of threads like this and people like OP who get their panties in a twist every time he posts something.
He will cry and deny this is him. The only thing I am jealous of, is the amount of spare time this dude has.

I don’t think he has really been that bad this week. Some of his posts have lead to pretty good discussion about the direction of the program.
He does seem to have an irrational hate for Patrick Ewing, though.
I tend to agree. Really his 1201 account overall has probably been the best we have seen out of him.

I hate Maizen's negativity as much as the next guy, but he's provided some valuable info on the boards the last few days in all honesty
And his dreams are coming true - the board is dominated by his posts, people are even agreeing with him in some cases, and he hasn't been banned in awhile. We should all be happy for the guy. way to go Maizen! #maizensworld #igivethisweek5stars

OP...Maizen (1201) has as much right to comment as you do. If you don’t like what he says, don’t read his comments.
Every thread where he posts, I see numerous comments of his with double digit negative votes. It would be nice if downvoting meant something.
This is such a lame thread.
One - you clearly care a lot about 1201 because you've decided to create a thread dedicated to him. Either you do care about him, or you have a few screws loose.
Two - of all the posters this week, he's provided the most data, information, and insight about the coaching search. I appreciate the content he's contributed this week.
Three - I don't condone all of his historical posts, but I am intrigued that the very people lambasting his posts are the same ones encouraging him to "jump off a bridge," "go fuck humself," etc. I saw one poster a few days ago encourage him to take his own life...
The holier than thou posters here who preach that type of hate ruin this blog for me. This is an internet message board, dedicated to the athletic performances of 18-22 year old kids as well as the university I love. For each of 1201's shitty posts, and entire 50-post onslaught of pure vitriol ensues that clouds any original meaning of the OP. It's ridiculous (and a major reason why I've significantly scaled down coming here).
If you don't like someone, ignore them.

Maizen/1201 has become my favorite poster because he toned down the dickheadish attitude and now just infuriates a lot of people. I love him.
