Well, the NYE MGoWatch Party at Cultivate is no more. A casualty of omicron. If you are looking for food for your home party, Side Biscuit has pivoted to pick up orders for parties small or large. Spots are going fast. Info here.

Onto the fun part, a very very happy birthday to my old buddy, one of the most positive people I have ever met, questionably a gentlemen & undoubtedly a scholar tomorrow, Seth. 

Although I am a Co-Founder of Five Shores Brewing, I am taking it easy tonight and sipping on a Lagunitas Hop Refresher. 

A hearty Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! And an anticipatory cheers to a victorious end to a great season that may just have salvaged a questionable year.

We’ve got a time share in key colony which is essentially Marathon. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control we didn’t make it this year. We were going to go in September after I got done with business in Miami but I was quarantined at the Hilton and the wife was fighting Delta back in Ohio. We celebrated our 25th in November and had planned on going in January but doesn’t look like it’s gonna happen. I spend most of our time, while there, fishing and going to Bahia Honda and working on my youthful glow. I could literally be a homeless person in the keys and be the happiest person on earth. It’s the only place that my wife doesn’t need to take her BP meds.

What's your take on the call for a fourth dose? I got boosted the day after Thanksgiving, but UK NHS just released a report that showed significant reduction in efficacy (to infection, not serious illness) from the booster after just a few weeks. It's almost like the immune system has heard this story before and isn't getting as worked up this time.

Happy Birthday Seth

Omicron blows. My daughter flew into town to visit and brought it with her from the flight I guess.  She hasn't been boosted yet and is pretty sick with a bad sore throat & fever.  Not sure if she can fly back.  The wife and I have been exposed but we're boosted, so no symptoms yet.

I'm having a La Fin du Monde and some Basil Haydens.

Ugh!  This really sucks. I wasn’t gonna be there cause I’m a West Coaster.  But this makes me sad. Community and fellowship is dying because of this damn pandemic.  
 

I’m hopeful we’ll get to watch our team play one or two (?!) more games without a Pandemic interruption.  ?
