Yeah, I noticed that during his Monday presser also. Seemed unusual at the time, particularly given what happened to Black just a few days earlier. Said something like he's happy with the prep for ND. I'm not used to coaches not being hesitant about final preps for the all-important Game 1. The last time I recall that was RR in 2010 just before Denard's first season as a starter. We all know how well that launch went, much to UConn's surprise. Is JH that confident about our rejuvenated offense under Patterson?

Absolutely!

Not only Harbaugh, but all the other coaches and players as well — there’s a different feel, a quiet confidence that lacks that tone of hope/we don’t quite know what we have yet and won’t until we start playing games.  Harbaugh & Co. have been in the game long enough to know when the pieces are there and it’s already clicking versus when they’re not. I get the sense that everyone knows how good the defense is, and they’re seeing Patterson actually move the offense against our defense — something we’ve not really seen before.

I’m as excited to watch Michigan as I ever have been!

Go Blue!  Beat the Irish!

I feel like we say this every year.  Nobody wants this to be true more than me but I feel like we say "man this team seems confident" every preseason.

I do understand the hope though, it seems like this year more than the past few we have the pieces to make a run.

I just don't want to be disappointed.

Speaking of radio talk, is Brandstatter still doing the play by play for Michigan?  Saw he was canned by the Lions.  He’s a great color guy but not the best when it comes to play by play.
