FauxMo

I heard about this on the radio. My question: When something is almost free to begin with, like LC pizza, is it really that big a deal that they make it free for a few minutes? I can go into that place and get 3 Hot N' Ready's and a 2 liter for less than $20. And a majority of the time, it doesn't taste like cardboard!

Maybe FauxMo should go to LC today and insist on paying for his lunch combo.

(The thought of which actually reminds me of the old pizza pizza commercial where the dude is like, "if you give me two, then I will pay for two" -- I promise an instant upvote to anyone who finds it)

Little Caesars doesn't win any flavor awards, but they have perfected the combination of product and market. Knowing that I can quickly pop over there for a cheap lunch when we're low on groceries is tremendous.

And their deep dish and extra most bestest pizzas are actually pretty good.

I've been planning this lunch for three weeks.

I've always enjoyed a Hot n' Sweaty. At the end of the day you're paying for a $5 pizza...you should know what you're getting into. And they are actually pretty good most of the time.

I tell this to people all the time who find it alarming that I might actually enjoy LC, but the only pizza I ever actually CRAVE is a hot 'n ready. I like other pizzas, for sure, and more often than not I don't buy LC, but there are some days where I just WANT a hot 'n ready. I can't really say that about any other pizza chain.

Got to my location at 11:15 and I was right at the door.  By 11:30 it was in the middle of the parking lot.  Luckily, I only had a 5 minute wait and was out of there by 11:35 when they started handing them out.  Nice lunch for today.
