President Santa Ono with strong words supporting Jim. Extension Coming?
President Ono offered strong words supporting Jim. I do not think we take his words lightly. This means two things, IMHO. First, the NCAA investigation will not uncover anything new. Second, Jim is more than likely to stay.
Also, I do not think Jim wants to give his enemies across BIG the satisfaction that they were able to drive him away from UM. My bet is on him staying.

They should give every coach who ended up coaching a game this year an extra $800,000/game to match what Harbaugh would get. Hart and Jay would split theirs. Sherrone would make an extra 3.2 million. Everything to keep him here.
Although I believe Newsome might be ready to take over OL duties.

I'm pretty sure Harbaugh can gift, tax free, up to $16m to Sherrone. I'm also pretty sure that could be done without media and Harbaugh would be the type of guy to do that...

Maybe it's just me, but nothing about this is screaming that Harbaugh is getting a new contract offer any time soon.
