Practice Video, NEW JERSEYS????

Submitted by R_mahorn1974 on
I began watching the "countdown to kickoff" video, it has the first practice. Then I noticed they got new jerseys on. http://mgoblue.com/home/

So? The Practice jerseys have stripes on them... Big Fucking Deal. Today's video is pretty good though!

It's a new season now isn't it? Rivals called them Practice Jerseys, I'll take their word for it. If it was the Beave, I'd wait for double confirmation from the bricklayer and the janitor.

He's been working with a personal trainer all summer. They've been doing some Barwis stuff, mixed with his trainer's routine. I spoke with his Dad a couple weeks before Taylor went up, and his dad couldn't believe what kind of shape he was in. It wasn't the biased kind; it was more like he was shocked at what Taylor was doing.

The team doesn't usually practice in game jerseys. If we have a new look we most likely won't see it until the opener (or possibly Fan Day).

They're practice jerseys. Adidas (and, for that matter, Nike as well) comes out with them every year. Tennessee has the same one, with orange in place of blue. I'm sure Notre Dame, Wisco, and other adidas schools have the same template. Tennessee pic They will not be on the field for an actual game. EVER.

The actual countdown to kickoff day 26 video won't be up till later tonight. There is a sights and sounds video of our first practice though right underneath it. It's only about 1:30 long but it shows Denard, Tate, and Lewan doing some drills with their groups.

The offensive line looks SO much better. I do agree that Lewan was moving like a skill position player through those drills, the future looks exciting for him. Also it was great to see Denard back there I'm really looking forward to see that speed at quarterback.

could function as exhibit A on why I've hated the Adidas deal since before it happened. Those really aren't Michigan jerseys, they're Adidas jerseys that Michigan football players happen to be wearing. Adidas' corporate logo (the three stripes) features way to prominently on much of the gear they make for teams, and it should be about THE TEAM, THE TEAM, THE TEAM!!!! not Adidas.
